I mean, how shit is that right? I bet they'll have guns too. Yeah, I'm definitely only excited about the next instalment of my favourite multiplayer shooter on account of it looking pretty. I know you get very defensive about it because it's pretty though. Like that's as predictable as "it will have red dot sights" and "there will be an XP based progression mechanic in multiplayer" and, oh - everything else about that game. I'll bet you a tenner you can call in a UAV when you get three kills in Battlefield 3. Should be a good one this year, I need to get the popcorn in for the live E3 threads. although 'RAM expansion pack, wooo!' isn't quite the same megaton as 'new nintendo console, with GTAV on it!' If not just to rain on Iwata's parade a bit at E3.

If they released an equivalent RAM PAK like the 64 etc through a new model of Kinect (or something) they could possibly get away with it for a little bit longer until they go with a proper new console.

I still think the idea of the Kinect having more power in it as was originally touted so that the Kinect do it's own processing stuff on any motion control behanviour and leave the 360 to do it's own thing. Id' be surprised if it's a 'scrap it and start all over again' situation. To that end, they can't really make it too different. Gamerscore especially for some, I'm sure. If the 360 2 is on it's way, they have to make sure gamerscore, gamertag and XBLA stuff all works on the new thing though, or there will be uproar from loads of people about losing it all.
